Respectful Mentors Guiding Your Children to Success
A Strong Team
The educators and team members at Christine’s Little Athletes take ownership and give 150% at all times. Christine believes taking care of her staff is so important that she buys them dinner at every team meeting and organizes “team building” activities like boating, dinner, massages, and sports to create a sense of camaraderie for the team.
Children are our future, so it is our duty to be respectful mentors and guide them to success.
Christine Greene, Owner
I am the owner of Christine’s little Athletes. I have owned and operated this childcare program since 2003. I have three children who all grew up in the West Valley district. I graduated from EWU with an outdoor recreation and business marketing degree. I have always worked with children from ski programs at Mt. Spokane and Silver mountain to running the Kirkland boys and girls club throughout college. After college, I decided to open an in-home daycare. Less than two years later, I grew into needing a facility and found our current location. Over the years we have expanded our current site and will continue building and expanding until we run out of room. My team of educators is devoted to shaping young minds while teaching respect, responsibility and confidence! I adore my entire team and feel blessed with such amazing and hard working individuals!
Makenzie Chamberlin, Program Supervisor
My name is Makenzie Chamberlin, and I am currently the Program Supervisor at Christine’s Little Athletes. I have experience working in childcare for about seven years and have worked at CLA for almost three years. I genuinely love working with children, and I approach each child as an individual who I get to help grow and teach. When I am not at work, I am a student at Carrington college studying to become a Medical Assistant. I enjoy being with my friends and family and going on road trips or festivals/concerts in my free time.
AJ Pluid
Hi my name is AJ. I have been in child care for over 10 years, with experience as a preschool teacher, in home nanny, and special needs care provider. I have always felt a strong desire to teach children and I am honored to be able to work with your children every day to enhance their skills. I am passionate about encouraging our students to be independent, problem solving, and confident in their decisions. It is so rewarding to help our students find their voice. Outside of work I love spending time with my family, traveling, and going on road trips! We have such wonderful staff and I am just so grateful to be part of the CLA team.
